How it works for home projects
Home engineering works from your architectural or drafted plans. If you don’t have plans yet, a draftsperson or building designer is the first step, and we are happy to work alongside them.
- Send us your plansPDF plans from your designer are preferred, plus photos for existing houses
- We confirm scope and a fixed feeEvery home project is assessed case by case
- Structural drawings and detailsBeams, footings, slabs, framing and connections, stamped for your building permit
House extension and new dwelling engineering is available in Western Australia only and is subject to availability. Engineering services only; we do not visit site, so existing structures are assessed from your photos, measurements and information.

Do you engineer homes outside Western Australia?
Not at the moment. Outside WA we provide sheds, patios and carports, shipping containers, fences and shade sails in every state and territory. In SA, sheds and patios only.
Do you need to visit the house?
No. We work from your plans, photos and measurements. For alterations to existing houses, clear photos of the walls being changed, the roof space and any existing beams let us design without a visit. If something genuinely cannot be assessed remotely, we will tell you.
Do I need a soil report?
For new footings and slabs, a site classification to AS 2870 is normally required by council. If you don’t have one, we can tell you what to arrange, or design to conservative assumptions where the council allows it.
